Sonatrach and the Turkish company Ronesens will proceed this Thursday in Istanbul (Turkey), the signing of a contract to build a petrochemical complex in Turkey for the conversion of propane to polypropylene.
With a production capacity of 450,000 tons per year of polypropylene, this important project will be carried out in the region of Cayhan, in the province of Adana in Turkey, according to a statement from the Ministry of Energy.
This project will allow the national oil company, Sonatrach, to ensure, in the long term, an outlet for Algerian propane, by 2040, to diversify and develop its gas resources.
